Guided dives at the best dive sites in the south of Tenerife, among volcanic walls, caves, wrecks and seabeds teeming with marine life. Suitable for both beginners and certified divers, with spots selected according to your level, sea conditions and the kind of dive you're after.
One of the most accessible sites in the south, perfect for try-dives and first-time divers. Entry straight from the beach, colourful seabeds with local wildlife, including seahorses.
A rocky bottom sloping gently down to 21 m, full of life: grunts, herrera, barracuda, mullet, stingrays and angelsharks. Two small caves at around 4 m in the shallower area.
North-west of Puerto Colón. A rocky reef down to 18 m alternating between platforms and sandy bottom. With current it becomes a gentle drift dive. Large shoals of fish, stingrays and angelsharks.
An absolute classic, the "Cueva de los Camarones". A vertical wall down to 30 m over a sandy bottom with garden eels and morays. For the more experienced, two underwater "tributes" at 35 and 38 m.
Between the lighthouse and El Condesito, a small and captivating cave at around 18 m, home to a large grouper. Loved by photographers for its backlit light. Currents are possible: best in calm seas.
A dive on one of Tenerife's most iconic wrecks: a cargo ship that ran aground in 1971 and now lies broken in a canyon at around 20 m. Frequent encounters with octopus, cuttlefish and vieja parrotfish.
One of the best spots for marine life. A rocky seabed dropping from 10 to 21 m, suitable for all levels. Shoals of fish, herrera, barracuda, stingrays and angelsharks.
A 42 m wreck in excellent condition on a sandy bottom near Palm-Mar. A paradise for photographers thanks to the visibility. During the safety stop it's not unusual to be joined by dolphins.
Close to Puerto Colón, two steel vessels on a sandy bottom at around 22 m, a shelter for trumpetfish, amberjack, octopus and rays. Minimal currents — perfect for simply enjoying the marine life.
